The client needed to migrate their Java backend services from DigitalOcean to AWS to enhance system performance and scalability. The challenge was to ensure a seamless transition without compromising system integrity.
Process
We researched and developed a transition roadmap, incorporating the careful transfer of backend services to the new hosting setup to improve performance and future growth. Our team leveraged AWS services and Terraform to architect and implement robust, scalable backend solutions.
We automated the entire infrastructure deployment process using Terraform, enhancing deployment efficiency and repeatability. Additionally, we developed advanced deployment scripts in Shell to optimise and streamline the migration process.
Solution
We set up the new hosting environment and automated the current existing backup, data processing, testing, and maintenance processes. The migration to AWS was seamless, with no disruption to system integrity. The new backend solutions provided enhanced performance and scalability, positioning Invest for future growth.
